Bradley Cooper might be the break-out star of 2009. With all this new-found power and pitched roles crowding his luxury condo (presumably), what does he have his eyes on in 2010? The Hangover 2, that’s what.
Cooper has revealed that he is exciting to begin production on the sequel to the sleeper hit of the summer of 2009, The Hangover. Oddly, Cooper, who is also starring in The A-Team, said he’d sign up for The Hangover 2 even if the script was terrible.
“Even if it’s not a good script, I’d do it! When you have an experience like this with people you get along with, it’s a rarity,” says Cooper. “So if someone says, ‘Do you want to spend three months doing it again?’ In a heartbeat!”
The Hangover made an amazing $462 million worldwide last year and was produced on a budget of only $35 million.
Cooper adds: “It’s a very intimate thing you go through, shooting a movie. You find out whether you really like somebody, or you very much dislike somebody pretty fast. It’s like doing a sport together.”
The Hangover 2 is due out in the summer of 2011 while The A-Team hits theaters this summer.
