Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson star as Face and Hannibal in ‘The A-Team’ movie and while it isn’t a brilliant or exhilarating action-packed movie, it packed enough into the weak storyline to avoid people from walking out of the movie theaters.
While, it is never a good sign when the shining point of a movie is an actor’s body and mannerisms, it has to be stated that Bradley Cooper is to be admired for helping to bring in a solid crowd to the movie based upon those two things. From the first minutes of the movie to the last few seconds, Bradley Cooper was a sparkling beacon to the movie.
Unfortunately, ‘The A-Team’ is a movie that plays to more male audiences and as such most of that demographic is not going to be enticed to a movie to see a hot body. While there were some action scenes, they were pretty weak and as stated before the story-line was thin and weak. The movie version of ‘The A-Team’ didn’t live up to the brilliance of the TV series but the actors certainly tried their best.
However, there was one part of the script that left me feeling less than impressed. And that was how the character B.A Baracus was portrayed. It has been a long time since I have really watched the TV show but I don’t even remember B.A being as wimpish and babyish as he was in this movie version.
All-in-all, ‘The A-Team’ was a good entryway back into the franchise and hopefully the sequel will have a better storyline. Los Angeles resident Justin was disappointed in the script and thought that there should have been more hard-hitting action.

While I agree with BA being a wimp in the film, I have to disagree that Bradley Cooper was the best thing. Yes, seeing him portraying Face was exciting and he was very impressive. But, we can’t forget about Liam Neeson and Hannibal and Sharlto as Murdock. They both made me forget who they were and pulled me into the story as equal Bradley did. The script wasn’t as bad as everyone is making it out to be. We have to remember that the TV show and the movie, while it is a remake, should NEVER be similar. A remake is just that…a RE-make. I’m gald the actors put their spin on the characters but still keeping somewhat true to the originals. I do, believe, however, that the writers should have started off with them being locked up in prison and breaking out so that we could have gotten more action and more storyline. But please, people. Don’t put this off as Bradley doing all the work and pulling in all the crowds. I think people went to go see if just to see how everyone was going to do.
Not gonna lie… I grew up in the 80s and IF I’m going to pay money to see this movie, it would LARGELY be because I want to see Bradley Cooper shirtless in this film. I hope I get my money’s worth.
Im not a guy but im into action movies and this movie to me… It was official; I loved it from begining to end, everyone did a great job,
I saw the ATeam and loved it. Perfect summer flick. I thought it was well cast and a lot of fun.
Rampage had the hardest part and I think it was smart of him to NOT try and do Mr. T. The cast was great, fantastic chemistry. I hope it makes enough money that they do a part 2.
